Alison Greiner is a licensed clinical social worker who completed her masters degree at the University of Southern California. She graduated with honors and has been licensed since 2004. Alison has extensive experience conducting therapy and case management services with individuals ranging in ages from young childhood through older adulthood. She provides individual, family, and group therapy.

Prior to entering private practice, Alison worked with various community agencies in Los Angeles including Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center, Family Services of Santa Monica, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, and the CAPPS program affiliated with the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA (now named the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior). While working at all of these diverse agencies, Alison gained extensive experience and expertise in diagnosing and treating many different types of mental health issues. Included in this list are Major Depression, Anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

One of Alisonís major interests involves treating womenís issues including: infertility, high risk pregnancies, postpartum mood disorders, pregnancy loss, and the transition to parenthood. Alison has a young son, and therefore understands both on a professional as well as personal level many of the struggles that parentís face. She is looking forward to facilitating various groups at Family Therapeutics focusing on some of these issues.
